Our Favorite Funny Christmas Movies (Contain Life Lessons for Entrepreneurs!)

By Amanda Sides on Jun 10, 2016

Get your mind off work and spend some time laughing with the people you love. Make up a pot of homemade hot chocolate and some popcorn and take an evening to watch one of our five favorite funny Christmas movies. We will be!

Why we love it: Nobody has the holiday spirit like Buddy does. He's devoted to his work because he loves his work so much, it's like play. It should be that way for all of us!

Favorite quote: "We elves like to stick to the four main food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corn, and syrup."

Home Alone

Why we love it: By the end, everyone remembers why we love the holidays so much: because we get to bring our families together, crazy as they may be.

Plus, Kevin doesn't procrastinate. He does what needs to be done in any given moment to achieve his goal.

Favorite quote: "Bless this highly nutritious microwavable macaroni and cheese dinner and the people who sold it on sale. Amen."

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

Why we love it: Perhaps a good reminder of what can happen when you don't take care of your employees!

Favorite quote: "Where do you think you're going? Nobody's leaving. Nobody's walking out on this fun, old-fashioned family Christmas. No, no. We're all in this together."

Love Actually

Why we love it: A heart wrenching look at decisions, priorities and balance, especially in the case of characters Sarah and Karl.

Favorite quote: "The trouble with being the Prime Minister's sister is, it does put your life into rather harsh perspective. What did my brother do today? He stood up and fought for his country. And what did I do? I made a papier maché lobster head."

A Christmas Story

Why we love it: Ralphie has a dream, and he doesn't let anything or anyone deter him or get him down.

Favorite quote: "You'll shoot your eye out!"
